A community nurse whose visits follow her from house to house
The work
Most of her day is spent in other people’s kitchens. Notes written in the car, a prescription to pass to the pharmacy and a follow-up to book all used to wait until she was back at a desk.
Where it gets hard
- Notes typed twice, once in the car and again at the desk
- Follow-ups remembered rather than booked
What running it in one place changes
- The visit, the notes and the next appointment kept in the same record
- Access only for the people who should see it
