A small audio company with a few shows, a paying membership and a live night every month
The work
Listeners want to support the shows they love. The team kept making that harder than it should be, with one tool for members, another for tickets and a third for the shop.
Where it gets hard
- Members, ticket buyers and shop customers are three separate lists
- A listener who pays in one place is a stranger in the next
- Payouts and fees are reconciled by hand
What running it in one place changes
- One list of the people who support the shows
- Memberships, tickets and the shop take payment the same way
- Takings from every source arrive in one report
