Write and submit an appeal
Notices and reviews · Appealing a decision · 5 min read · updated 15 Sep 2026
An appeal is read by a different person from the one who made the decision. A clear, specific appeal is decided faster.
Step by step
- Open the notice and choose Appeal.
- State plainly which part of the decision you disagree with.
- Give the facts that were missing: a corrected document, a bank letter, a screenshot of the page in question.
- Say what you have already changed so it does not happen again.
- Submit. You can see the progress on the appeal, and we reply within five working days.
Worth knowingAttach proof rather than describing it. One clear photograph of the right document settles most appeals.
Common questions
Can I appeal twice?
You can appeal once per decision. If new evidence appears later, raise an issue and mention the appeal number.
Does an appeal stop the restriction?
No. The restriction stays while the appeal is read, unless we tell you otherwise.
