What is a Intersink User ID and what belongs to it?
Getting started · Account basics · 4 min read · updated 12 Sep 2026
Your User ID is your personal account on Intersink. It is yours alone and is never shared with a business, even after you leave one. Everything in the left menu of your personal panel (your profile, documents, email, Drive, tasks, notes and calendar) sits inside your User ID.
Step by step
- Open your personal panel from the account button at the top right, then choose Personal account.
- Your User ID number is shown on the Home page under Your details. Support asks for it when you contact us, so keep it handy.
- Add your phone number and a recovery email under Security so that you can always get back in.
- Everything you create inside a business (channels, leads, orders) belongs to that business, not to you.
Worth knowingIf you leave a business, you keep your User ID, your personal email, your Drive files and your billing history. You lose access to that business’s data on the same day.
Common questions
Can I have more than one User ID?
You can, but we do not recommend it. One User ID can own and join any number of businesses, and invitations are sent to a single email address.
Can I change the email address on my User ID?
Yes, under Profile. You must confirm the new address before it becomes your sign-in email. Invitations already sent to the old address still work for seven days.
