Clear rules, clear notices, a way back
Notices and reviews lists every decision we have taken about you, a business or a channel. Each notice explains what it means, why it happened, how we decided, how to avoid further limits and the history of the decision.
Account status is a plain list of what is fine and what is not: features, content removals, payouts and payments, verification, visibility, anything we need from you, and strikes.
Our community rules are written in plain language: fraud, intellectual property, regulated goods, payouts and ownership, spam, customer experience, privacy and harassment.
The strike ladder
Most problems follow the same steps, so you always know what comes next.
First strike
A warning. Nothing is limited. The strike ends after 90 days.
Second strike
One feature linked to the problem is limited for 1 day, such as adding outside links.
Third strike
The same feature is limited for 7 days.
Fourth strike
Limited for 14 days, and the account is shown lower in marketplace search.
Fifth strike
Suspended until a person reviews the whole account. You can still export your data.

| Notice types | Restriction, information needed, payout hold, decision, warning, content removed and visibility limit. |
| Reviews | One review per decision. While we review, the decision stays in place. If we made a mistake, we restore everything and remove any strike. |
| Things that never add a strike | Information requests, payout holds and decisions that were reversed. |
| Serious cases | Scams, stolen goods, weapons or drugs, child endangerment and payouts to the wrong account can skip the ladder. |
| When suspended | You can still download your data, read notices and request a review. Businesses you own keep running under their admins. |
| Reporting | Anyone can report content, with or without an account: fraud, counterfeits or copyright, child safety, misleading health claims, harassment, personal data, spam and more. |
