Customer Declaration
What the owner of a business confirms when it is verified, when it orders paid services and when it changes its details.
Who makes this declaration
The person who verifies a business, adds its billing details or orders paid services (for example an app or a cloud service) makes this declaration for the business and for themselves.
What you confirm
- The information you give about yourself and the business (names, addresses, registration and tax numbers, ownership and identity documents) is true, complete and current, and you will keep it up to date.
- You are authorised to act for the business and to agree to the Terms of Service, the Business and Channel Terms and, where you order them, the Cloud Services Terms.
- You have told us about everyone who owns or controls more than 25% of the business, where we ask.
- Neither you, the business nor its owners are subject to UK, US, EU or UN sanctions, or acting for anyone who is.
- The business and its channels will be used lawfully and in line with the Acceptable Use Policy, and money paid through the platform is not the proceeds of crime.
- You agree that we may check the information with identity, company, sanctions and fraud-prevention services, and keep a record of the checks.
If something is wrong
If information turns out to be false or out of date, we may ask you to correct it, pause paid features until it is, or end the agreement under the Enforcement policy. Knowingly giving false information may also be a criminal offence.
