Create your User ID

Before you start

• An email address you will keep. Temporary email addresses cannot be used, because this is how you recover your account.
• You must be 18 or older.

Steps

1. Open the sign-up page

   Choose Create account at the top of any page on this website. The page is called Create your User ID.

2. Enter your details

   Fill in Full name (as on your ID), Email address, Password, Country or region and Date of birth. Use 12 or more characters for the password. A short phrase is easier to remember and harder to guess. The strength meter tells you if it is too weak or has been found in a data breach.

3. Prove you are human and agree to the terms

   Tick Verify you are human, then tick I agree to the Terms of Service and have read the Privacy Notice. Product news by email is optional. Choose Create User ID.

4. Verify your email

   Type the 6 digit code we emailed you into Verification code and choose Verify email. If it has not arrived, wait for the timer and choose Send a new code.

5. Add a phone number

   Recommended, and used only for security. Enter your number, choose Send code, then type the code and choose Verify phone. You can also choose Skip for now.

6. Secure your account

   Choose Add a passkey or Use an authenticator app. You will need 2-step verification before you can receive payouts or become a business owner. Choose I’ll do this later if you want to come back to it.

7. Finish

   Your User ID is ready. Choose Create your first business or Go to Home.
